ISO6760: Output voltage of ISO6760DWR is continuously high

Part Number: ISO6760

Dear TI team,

I am using ISO6760DWR as digital isolator in my circuit. I am observing that voltage at the OUT pin of IC ISO6760DWR is continuously high.

Note that, I have not connected pull down resistor at the input and input signal is open.

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

The default state of the ISO6760DWR is HIGH, hence why you are seeing HIGH state. When the device is powered on for both sides and there is no input signal, the output will always have an output with default state.

If you would like a LOW state for output when there is no input signal applied, please look into the ISO6760FDWR, which has a default state of LOW: ISO6760 | Buy TI Parts | TI.com
