ISO1050: ISO1050 - EVM

Part Number: ISO1050
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-01406,

Hello All,

I am looking for "ISO1050" design examples and I confused about which design is more effective and new or useful?

I looked;

figure 9.1

https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/iso1050.pdf?ts=1711360908437&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F

also TIDA-01406;

and also ISO1050EVM;

Could you please help me about it?

Regards

  • Hello Oben,

    Thanks for reaching out. Each graphic is a valid application.

    1. The datasheet's application diagram is without component values and is a good starting place for understanding a typical set-up.
    2. The EVM has actual circuit with component values. So, EVM would be a good reference and includes test points and jumpers for testing. These would be removed in a final design.
    3. TIDA-01406 is a real reference design and is the starting point for a final application schematic.

    Let me know if this answered your question.

    Best,
    Andrew

  • Hello Andrew,

    So what do you prefer to me TIDA or EVM schematics?

    Regards

  • Hello Oben,

    The TIDA would probably be more useful to you since it is closest to a final design and includes additional protection circuitry. The EVM schematics are for evaluation purposes, and the jumpers and test points are not needed.

    Best,
    Andrew
