ISOUSB111: ISOUSB111 PIN pin function

Part Number: ISOUSB111

Tool/software:

Dear Experts,

I would like to know how the pin called PIN (12) works for the ISOUSB111?

The datasheet only specifies this:

This means that the PIN has to be tied to V3P3V2 that the Downstream be enabled?

Also in the datasheet it is tied to V3P3V2:

Thanks,

Andras

  • Hello Andras,

You are correct, the PIN should be tied to the V3P3 in order to enable connection to the bus, or alternatively the peripheral could control when the device connects to the bus by having the MCU drive the PIN directly to enable the connection.

    Best,
    Michael
