Hi team,
I found VIOTM /VIMP and other insulation spec don't have been marked altitude info. May I know if higher altitude will affect insulation spec. like VIOTM /VIMP spec.

Hi Amber,
The altitude is <=2000m for VDE, TUV, and CSA certifications while it is <=5000m for CQC certification. So for VDE, TUV, and CSA, VIOTM/VIMP ratings have to be adjusted / corrected if specific application's altitude is higher than 2000m.
Thanks,

Hi Saleem,
Thanks, so can we offer VIOTM/VIMP ratings on higher altitude >5000m for customer?

Hi Amber,
In the IEC standards, I've seen clearance correction factors for altitudes (up to) <=5000m. I've not seen altitudes >5000; does your application require altitude >5000m?
Thanks,
