ISOM8110: Confirmation of creepage distance

Part Number: ISOM8110

Tool/software:

Can it be used in the primary to secondary of a switching power supply (reinforced insulation equivalent)?
I am concerned about the above because the distance between terminals appears to be narrow.
I would like to know the creepage distance, accuracy, and life expectancy.

  • Hello Takeuchi-san,

Thank you for reaching out. ISOM8110 will be reinforced as per VDE (certification is pending). Creepage be found in the datasheet in table 6.4 and will always be greater than 5mm.

Life expectancy of the isolation barrier is part of the certification process and is still being collected. The results will be available on the datasheet when the certificate is issued.

For accuracy, I am assuming you are referring to the current transfer ratio (CTR). CTR for specific test conditions can be found in 6.7 Electrical Characteristics.

Let me know if you need further details.

    Best,
    Andrew

  • Hi Andrew,

    Thank you.
