SN6505A: 2MOPP requirement

Hi BU,

As you know, SN6505A is working with ISOUSB211 for isolation power in ISOUSB211DPEVM.

And now, my customer want to use same design and want to check whether SN6505A could also meet the requirement for 2MOPP requirement or/and we have isolation certification for SN6505x.

Please advise.

Hello Tiger,

Thanks for reaching out. SN6505A is a transformer driver and does not have an isolation barrier or component. Therefore, SN6505A will not have an isolation certificate or rating. The isolation rating will instead be on the transformer. Please check the transformer manufacture's website for its isolation rating and specs.
