ISOUSB211: communication distance

Tool/software:

hi team,

the normal USB can communicate with up tp 1.5 meters. Can this device increase the communication distance?  thanks!

    Hi Zoey,

    Most cables that we normally use in our day-to-day use are 1m to 2m in length but the USB standard requires that all USB devices work upto 5m cable length. ISOUSB211 also supports cable length of 5m. Therefore, customer can use the device upto 5m cable length.

    Additionally, ISOUSB211 has internal equalization and pre-emphasis which compensates for the losses due to long traces in the PCB. This makes sure the device supports full cable length irrespective of the trace lengths in the PCB.
