Part Number: ISO7740-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7741-Q1, ISO7741

Tool/software:

Hi,

i am using ISO7740DBQR IC for digital isolator purpose

attached the schematc, problem is at INC input GPIO is become High from MCU,but output side OUTC is not changing its state from LOW to HIgh

IN A & IN B working fine, what could be the reason for  INC not working

thank you

  • Hello,

Thanks for reaching out and the schematic.

I noticed that the device in question is the ISO7740F-Q1, which has 4 forward channels. But the image shows a 3 forward channels and 1 reverse channel, which could be ISO7741-Q1.

Considering this, can you please confirm which device is being used?

Also, Can you please provide a waveform of the issue you are experiencing?

  • Hi

updated part number used is ISO7740DBQR and R27 is DNP since only one Enable required for this IC

    Thank you

  • Hi Venkatesh,

    Thank you for your response.

updated part number used is ISO7740DBQR and R27 is DNP since only one Enable required for this IC

As shown from the schematic you originally sent, this device has 3 forward channels and 1 reverse channel, meaning that this device in the schematic is the ISO7741 device.

If the device is supposed to be only 4 forward channels, then please confirm if the schematic and part number is correct.

As I mentioned before, Do you have any waveforms of INC input and output signals? can you also provide the layout of the device?

    Regards,
    Aaditya Vittal
