ISOUSB211: Inquire about other packages plan

Part Number: ISOUSB211
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISOUSB111

Tool/software:

Hello.

Do you have any plans for a small package for the ISOUSB211 series?
I tried to use this product before, but the SSOP (10.30 mm × 7.50 mm) size was too big to fit, and the ISOUSB111 SSOP package (5.85 mm × 7.50 mm) was suitable in size, but the speed was not enough, so I gave up.

Even if it says "do not require external crystals to reduce your design footprint," if the basic type is too big, the meaning is weakened. It may be difficult when considering the miniaturization and multi-functionality of USB devices, but I am asking from my perspective of thinking about miniaturization.

I would like to inquire about this product as I have confirmed that it is a new product and has been certified to automotive standards.

Thank you

S.Y.Lee

  • Hi S Y Lee,

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in ISOUSB211.
We currently do not have ISOUSB211 in any smaller package than 28-pin SSOP package. I understand that you prefer a smaller package but we currently only have this one package for ISOUSB211. Thanks.
