ISO7221A-Q1: Changes associated with PCN#20241119009.2

Tool/software:

The data sheet indicates that VDE (IEC60747-17), CSA (IEC62368-1), and UL (UL1577) standards are planned, but have they already been obtained?
If not, please let us know when you expect to obtain them.
Also, PCN #20241119009.2 changes creepage distance from 4.8mm to 4mm and space distance from 4.3mm to 4mm, but the shape is not changed. What is the reason for the change?

    The certifications are in progress right now. We are expecting to have them available around June.

    The creepage and clearance specs were standardized to fit the performance of the device in the D package. The specifications regarding the ISO7221A-Q1 were better optimized in order to better fit the performance of the device.

    The changes in the PCN in relation to the ISO7221A-Q1 device includes many different changes associated with the manufacturing location. Due to the location change, certain characteristics were changed accordingly. We do not expect the device to have any significant change on the behavior of customer's application.

    Hi Morihara-san,

    As I mentioned before, The PCN changes for the ISO7221A-Q1 device includes many different changes associated with the manufacturing location. The specific changes are TI maximum restriction, so I will not be able to share any details on this. For details on specifications, please refer to the PCN description and updated datasheet.
