ISOM8710: standard height

Hi team,

I would like to ask, the standard height in the datasheet of the ISOM8710 component is 2.1mm, but the maximum height is described as 2.65mm. What height does this 2.65mm refer to specifically?

The height limit from the substrate to the shell of our product is 2.6mm, so it interferes. I would like to confirm what the actual height deviation of this component is? The height deviation of the Toshiba TLP series of the same package type is 2.1±0.1mm

We are about to send out the trial substrate, please help confirm as soon as possible, thank you!

Hello Lillian,

Thank you for reaching out. The maximum height spec is the worst-case device height. Recently the max height of the package was updated to 2.4mm (see DFFpackageDrawing.pdf) the datasheet should be updated soon.

I believe the new dimensions (2.4 max) will work with your application limit of 2.6mm.

I would like to confirm two more points. 1) The currently mass-produced ISOM8710 is already in mass production with a maximum height of 2.4mm, right? 2) When is the datasheet expected to be updated?

Hi Lillian,

Yes, 2.4mm is in production.
I cannot commit to a date. But updates usually takes 1-3weeks.
