Hi Nishalini,
Thanks for reaching out. Please find my inputs below:
The ISOW7842 does not support 3.3V Input, 5V Output operation.
Only ISOW7841 supports this mode of operation.

Please let me know the difference between ISOW7842 and ISOW7841 in the aspect of why it doesn't support 3.3V Input, 5V Output operation.
Please share sample design or pin details how it needs to be connected
Hi Nishalini,
Please let me know the difference between ISOW7842 and ISOW7841 in the aspect of why it doesn't support 3.3V Input, 5V Output operation.
First thing - We don't share device level details publicly. Second - ISOW7842 is 2 Forward and 2 reverse channels, this changes the supply current requirements which is not guaranteed and supported by the integrated DC-DC converter.
Please share sample design or pin details how it needs to be connected
Please refer datasheet for these details. We also have the ISOW7841 EVM for sample connection. It's basically the SEL pin that needs to be HIGH with 3.3V Input. We don't have a separate sample design for this mode. You can refer section 10.2 in datasheet for design considerations in general as well.
Let us know if you have any further questions or doubts on working of the device in 3.3V Input and 5V Output.

Varun
Thanks for the reply, Varun
Please confirm whether we can use ISOW7841 as 3.3V Input and 5V Output
Hi Nishalini,
SEL pin being HIGH means connected to Viso and LOW means connected to GND2.
also i hope the difference between ISOW7842 and ISOW7841 is direction of channels. Please check and confirm on the same.
I have already mentioned this above, please read through my reply once - ISW7842 is 2 Forward and 2 Reverse Channel where as ISOW7841 is 3 Forward and 1 reverse channel.
Please suggest a part number for 4 channels, input 3.3V and output 5
Can you please be more specific in your requirements and questions here. Do you need with Isolated Power integrated or you're asking for a normal digital isolator? Also, what is your channel configuration requirement in terms of forward and reverse channels?
Regards
Varun
Hi Nishalini,
Please confirm whether we can use ISOW7841 as 3.3V Input and 5V Output
Yes, the ISOW7841 supports this mode.

Varun
Thanks for the reply varun
Please suggest an isolator with 3.3V Input and 5V Output and all other specs as same as ISOW7842

Inputs - Side 1/Side 2: 2/2
Channel Type: Unidirectional
Voltage - Isolation:5000Vrms
Common Mode Transient Immunity (Min):100kV/µs
Data Rate:100Mbps
Propagation Delay tpLH / tpHL (Max):17.6ns, 17.6ns
Pulse Width Distortion (Max):4.7ns
Rise / Fall Time (Typ):2ns, 2ns
Voltage - Supply:3V ~ 5.5V

Hi Nishalini,
You can consider ISO7842 for if the isolated power is not a requirement.
Take a look at the datasheet for all the above parameters

Hi Varun,
Can you please suggest an exact alternate for ISOW7842 and my main requirement is power and 2 Forward and 2 Reverse Channel
Hi Nishalini,
Currently we don't have any device with power which supports 3.3V Input and 5V Output with 2 Forward and 2 Reverse channel.

Varun
Hi varun ,
Will these parts ISOW7840, ISOW7843, ISOW7844 supports 5V input and 3V output operation?
Hi Nishalini,
If you meant to ask 3.3V Output, then Yes. 3V Output is not supported in any ISOW devices.
Please go through the datasheet Page 19 and 20 for each of these device's parameters number.
