My customer is desiging ISOW1044 on the carrier boared. However, the CAN signal needs to go to end equipment board through a cable. Currently the cable length is not confirmed and determined by end customer.
Is there any concern that the ISOW1044 transmit through long distance? (EMI, surge, signal distortion...etc.)
What would be the concern?
Is there a suggested max limit of the cable length?
Pls kindly provide a guideline or any reference design of the long distance transmission.
