Our customer used the ISO150.

The customer start to new design, but the ISO150 is NRND.

Could you tell me the recommend device instead of the ISO150?

Hello Naoki,

If you are looking for basic isolation please use ISO7321C and if you need reinforced isolation please have a look at ISO7821. Both of these families have devices with single channel up to quad channels, you can find more details at the below link.

If you are looking for a bidirectional device, please have a look at ISO1540 / ISO1541. Both of these isolators offer bidirectional functionality. Let me know if you have any other requirements. Thank you.

can I use the GPIO signal in the ISO1540/ISO1541 ?
Di ISO1540/ISO1541 not only be used I2C ?

Hello Lin,

The device is designed to support any bidirectional communication requirement including I2C provided datarate is less than 1Mbps and I/O thresholds of ISO154x meet the device it is interfaced to. I just want to detect or control the external signal from the CPU's IO PIN(1.8V),
So I need to isolate Bidirectional interface.
If it can provide higher voltage(12V) better. Thanks.

Hello Lin,

For your bidirectional requirement ISO1540 / ISO1541 would be the best device. ISO154x operates from 3V to 5.5V, if you requirement is to support higher or lower voltages than what ISO154x supports you will have to use a level translator to be able to support voltage levels. Thanks.
