Hi all,

I want to be low the quisient current.

When disable (EN_Low), how much the ICC1 and ICC2?

Regards,

Nagai

  • Hello Nagai-san,

For ISO7242C, quiescent current doesn't change with EN = 0 or 1 hence the ICC values given in datasheet for EN = 1 would remain the same for EN = 0. This isn't the same for the newer devices like ISO7342C, ISO7842 & ISO7742. The newer devices have much lower ICC when EN = 0, hence I would recommend using any of the newer devices that are also pin-compatible to ISO7242C.

  • Nagai-san,

    Yes, ISO7342FC has lower ICC requirements than ISO7242C. When EN = 1 for ISO7342FC, ICC1 = ICC2 = 2.5mA typical whereas when EN = 0 ICC comes down to 0.7mA typical.
