ISO7762: FIT rate of Digital Isolators

Part Number: ISO7762

Dear Team,

is it possible to get FIT rates of our digital isolators (in this case the ISO7762)?

The online tool on http://www.ti.com/quality/docs/estimator.tsp does not bring results for this component.

The data sheet mentioned >40 years Isolation Barrier Life, but whats about the complete device?

Hi Martin,

I am sorry that the reliability tool currently doesn't support isolators, please find below the reliability data for ISO7762.

MTBF : 2.50E+09
FIT RATE : 0.4
CONF LEVEL : 60%
USAGE TEMP : 55C

For the overall device lifetime qualification we follow the standard industry practice and qualification tests includes HTOL, HAST and others. These tests do not directly convert to a particular lifetime but it is considered satisfactory across the industry. I hope this answers your questions, thanks.
