ISO1540-Q1: Reinforced Isolation version

Part Number: ISO1540-Q1

Hello,

ISO1540-Q1 meets basic isolation.

Do you have any plan of ISO1540-Q1 or any other I2C part to meet reinforced isolation.

Best regards,

H.Someno

  • Hi Hidekazu,

Currently we do not have an I2C isolator that supports reinforced isolation and ISO154x is primarily the family that is available for I2C isolation.
If it is okay to use a few external components then there is an easy way to achieve reinforced I2C isolation. Please go through the below App Note that describes how to implement reinforced I2C isolation using the reinforced digital isolator ISO77xx. Thanks.
