ISO7820: Recommendation of ISO7820 similar part

We are looking for a LVDS isolator, which needs hot-swap function, and the speed is less than 300 Mbps. At present, we have preliminary evaluation of ISO7820. Is there any more mainstream recommended part?

    Hi HY,

    I am not sure if you are referring to ISO7820 digital isolator or ISO7820LL LVDS isolator in your post. If you are referring to ISO7820LL, it supports 100Mbps of datarate while ISO7821LLS supports 150Mbps. These are the recommend LVDS isolators that we have from our portfolio.

    May I know what exactly did you mean by hot-swap function here? Could you please describe more about customer use case with respect to hot-swap?

    We need the ISO7821LLS, LVDS interface. At the same time, we would like to know if there is any recommendation for unidirectional devices.

    Hi HY,

    For 150Mbps LVDS isolation, we only have ISO7821LLS that has two opposite direction channels. If 100Mbps is still okay for the application then we have ISO7820LL that supports two channels in the same direction. Hopefully this meets your requirement, thanks.
