ISO3086: Power up sequence between Vcc1 and Vcc2

Part Number: ISO3086

Hi Team,

Are there any requirements of power up sequence between Vcc1 and Vcc2 of ISO3086?

For example,
Vcc1=3.3V and Vcc2=5.0V
If Vcc2 (5.0V) is powered up faster than Vcc1 (3.3V), are there any issues?
Thank you.

Best Regards,

Koshi Ninomiya

  • Hi Ninomiya-san,

    Because the ISO3086 - and other of TI's digital isolators - have a separate die for each isolated side, there is no power up sequence requirement between Vcc1 and Vcc2. It is okay to power up one or the other, and any output signals will be in their default state meanwhile.

    Thank you for posting to E2E,

    Manuel Chavez
