ISO7341C: How about the output in our case.

Hi team.

I'd like to know about the output in our case.

What type of the output when VCC2=5V、VCC1 and EN1 = No input ?

Sincerely.

Kengo.

  • Hi Kengo,

ISO7341C has 3 OUT pins on Side2 and one OUT pin on Side1, I am assuming your question is related to the OUT pin on Side1 as you have referred to EN1 input as well. If VCC1 and EN1 are 0V then OUTD is also expected to read 0V as the die is unpowered.

In the Function Table from ISO7341C datasheet, we do mention OUT pin status is going to undetermined under this condition for VCC < 2.1V. This is because any non-zero voltage could still power the device partially and can create intermediate voltage at OUT pin. But if you do not apply any voltage or if the pin voltage of VCC1 and EN1 are 0V then OUT is clearly expected to read 0V as well.

I hope that answers your question, thank you.
