ISO7041: Does the ISO7041 have 5kv ver?

Part Number: ISO7041
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7741, ISO7740

hi sir

I Like the ISO7041 Low power consumtion

but, do you have 5kv ver?

thanks

  • Hi Chen,

No, we do not have the ISO7041 with 5kVrms VISO. The next most suitable device that we recommend for 5kVrms VISO is ISO7741 in DW package, though it isn't as low power as ISO7041. Thanks.

  • Do you have the suggestion to fighting ADI/ADUM2400?

    Need 5kv & Ultra-low power

  • Hi Chen,

The equivalent part for ADuM2400 will be ISO7740 which offers 5kVrms of isolation withstand voltage and has similar power consumption. Please do note that ADuM2400 is not an ultra-low power device and so is the ISO7740. We do not have ultra-low power device available in 5kVrsm isolation voltage. Thanks.

  • hi sir

but the power consumption, ADI better than TI

    ADUM2400 in 3 V operation
0.7 mA per channel maximum @ 0 Mbps to 2 Mbps

ISO7740 in 3v operation Low power consumption, typical 1.5 mA per
    channel at 1 Mbps

  • Hi Chen,

I agree there are differences in current consumption between ADuM2400 and ISO7740, this is primarily due to the architectural differences between the two devices. ADuM2400 is an older family device and uses an older architecture that consumes lower current whereas ISO7740 uses the newer and more robust on-off keying (OOK) architecture and hence consumes relatively higher currents. Hence, I recommend to consider the latest and more robust architecture device and not the older generation ones. Thanks.
