ISO7761: 12.8kV surge capability

Hello support team.

My customer inquires ISO7761 peak surge. Datasheet top page shows "Up to 12.8kV surge capability". However, there is no spec for 12.8kV. I found that datasheet page 8 V_IOSM 8000Vpk, and the test condition is V_IOSM x1.6. Does 12.8kV on top page show this VIOM x 1.6? 

And if you have any application note for V_IOSM, please share it with me.

    Thanks for reaching out.
    VIOSM rating of ISO7761 in DW package is 8 kVpk and VDE requires that the device needs to pass 12.8 kVpk to be certified for VIOSM of 8 kVpk (with 60% margin). Hence, the right way to read this data for ISO7761 in DW package is that it has VIOSM rating of 8 kVpk (according to VDE) and Surge capability of 12.8 kVpk (according to the test method described in IEC 62368-1).
