ISO7740: F Suffix tPZh and tPZh

Part Number: ISO7740

Hi Team, We would like to further understand  "F Suffix" family does or does not really help with speed of enable propagation delay, as it only reduces the tPZL from 3.2us to 17ns, but it also increases tPZH from 17ns to 3.2us.

Thank you in advance for your inputs.

Regards,

Mark

  • Hi Mark,

    Thanks for reaching out.
Enabling the output to default state takes only about 17ns as the device is designed to reach default state much quicker. Hence, tPZL for ISO770F will be 17ns while for ISO7740 (without F suffix), tPZH will be 17ns. While enabling the output to non-default state takes about 3.2µs, thus tPZH is 3.2µs for ISO7740F and also tPZL for ISO7740 (without F suffix). Enable pin isn't designed to make it faster or slower in either of the devices.

If tPZL and tPZH times are critical for you then I would recommend you to use ISO674x which has a typical value of 18.6ns for both tPZL and tPZH. Thanks.
