ISO7730: Connect NC pin(pin 6) to GND

Hello,

My customer is considering to replace a 4ch(4:0) digital isolator to ISO7730.
They actually use only 3ch although they are using 4ch version.
Now pin 6 is directly connected to GND because they don’t use this channel and they don’t want to change the layout.

Now pin 6 of ISO7730 is NC pin.
Is it acceptable to connect this Pin 6(NC) of ISO7730 to GND directly?

    Thanks for reaching out.
    Yes, customer can directly connect Pin 6 (NC) to GND without any issue. The NC pin is internally not connected to any circuit and hence, we do not expect any issues in connecting it to GND. Thanks.
