Part Number: ISO35
If ISO35 can support max 3000 Vrms Isolation Rating? Although I found it is only 2500Vrms in datasheet...
If not, do we have any other P2P device can support 3000Vrms Isolation Rating ?
Thanks for posting your question on E2E. We do not currently have an isolated RS-485 transceiver that supports 3kVrms Isolation. You are correct that the ISO35 datasheet specification for isolation is 2500 Vrms as per UL 1577 and CSA CA5A and IEC 60950-1. I do not have any pin-to-pin compatible solutions for you at this time.
To meet 3kVrms Isolation, I would recommend an isolator + RS-485 transceiver such as the ISO7741 + SN65HVD1473. If you also need isolated power, consider ISOW7841 + SN65HVD1473 which can be seen in the Isolated RS-485 With Integrated Signal and Power
Reference Design. Both of these solutions would give you at least 5kVrms isolation.
