Part Number: ISO7710
I'm working on a project that requires to isolate an 'analog 4-20mA' transmitter from another intrinsically safe circuit. The main circuit must send a pwm signal to the 4-20mA tx to modulate the current . ISO 7710 can be the right product but certification body has some concern about isolation distance / fail mode . Do you have any certification or useful information , with focus on Intrinsically safe, to share with certification body ?
(I already found slyy081.pdf that can be useful)
Hi Roberto, If you are looking for ATEX or IECEx certifications for this device, then please note that we don't plan to certify this device for Intrinsically safe applications. We are looking into developments which would be certified for ATEX IS to IS applications. All other certifications for ISO7710 such as UL 1577, VDE 0884-11, CSA, TUV, & CQC are available online at: www.ti.com/.../technicaldocuments
