I'm working on a project that requires to isolate an 'analog 4-20mA' transmitter from another intrinsically safe circuit. The main circuit must send a pwm signal to the 4-20mA tx to modulate the current . ISO 7710 can be the right product but certification body has some concern about isolation distance / fail mode . Do you have any certification or useful information , with focus on Intrinsically safe, to share with certification body ?
