ISO1042: What is the EMC performance on system level test

Hi Team,

In ISO1042 datasheet that shows it has robust performance on system level ESD, EFT, and Surge immunity. My customer has a question that what system level EMC test ISO1042 can pass? There is no related information in datasheet, could team help to provide the test result on ESD/EFT/Surge.

Hi Vincent,

Let me check with the rest of the team to see what kind of data I can find on EFT. In the meantime here is some data in the about ESD and Surge:

ESD:

Hi Dan,

Thanks very much for the information, please provide me EFT test result once you have it from team.
As to surge portion, you show the data which is the insulation surge test result. I am not sure do you have IEC61000-4-5 test result can be shared with my customer?

Hi Vincent,

Sorry about the delay. The test engineer that may have the EFT data is on vacation right now and is not returning until the 19th of March.

As to surge: IEC 61000-4-5 is a system level test whereas IEC 62368-1 is a component level test. They both use the same surge waveform (1.2/50 us) just the surrounding circuitry may be slightly different. I would expect very similar levels of surge performance for 62368-1 and 61000-4-5.
