Hi team,

I am searching for an AEC qualified RS232,RS485 and CAN transceiver ICs with Galvanic isolation for our latest project. Could you please suggest any part numbers from TI?

    Hi Akhil,

    If you are looking for a single-chip solution for isolated RS-232, RS-485 and CAN transceivers, you can use the following devices.

    1. CAN -> ISO1042, available in WB SOIC-16 and WB SOIC-8 packages, all are automotive qualified.
    2. RS-485 -> ISO1410/12, you can choose one of these two devices based on whether you need half-duplex or full-duplex, isolated RS-485 devices are not available with automotive qualification.
    3. RS-232 -> We do not have a single-chip solution for isolated RS-232.

    If two-chip solution is also okay for your application then you can use the following devices.

    1. CAN -> ISO77xx-Q1 + CAN transceiver (www.ti.com/.../overview.html)
    2. RS-485 -> ISO77xx-Q1 + RS-485 transceiver (www.ti.com/.../overview.html)
    3. RS-232 -> ISO77xx-Q1 + RS-232 transceiver (www.ti.com/.../overview.html)
