Dear Koteshwar Rao
Thank you for your cooperation.
I have already contacted the Customer Center.
So I was told to ask e2e.
Below, I will send the text.
Please send LU test data as soon as possible.

Dear Koteshwar
Greetings!
I have not contacted you about this matter, but what happened after that?
I ’m waiting for you to send me the LU test data .
ISO7740FDW and ISO7740FDWR(SOIC DW 16pin)
Please reply to me.
Thanks & Best regards,

Dear Koteshwar
Good day!
I saw the result of 【I-Test】.
Are these two products tested in 【V-Test, Overvoltage Test】?
If not, why?
regards,
Tami Higasa
Hi Tami,
The LU test involves injecting current with the voltage clamped to a higher voltage. So yes, the device is also tested with voltage clamped to higher levels as part of LU test. I hope that answers you question, thanks.

Hi, Koteshwar
Please tell me the results of [V-Test, Overvoltage Test].

Hi, Koteshwar
I understand there are two types of Latch-UP tests.
(1)V-Test, Overvoltage Test
(2)I-Test
The test methods are
(1)V-Test, Overvoltage Test
Check that latch-up does not occur with voltage pulses up to 1.5 times the power supply voltage.
(2)I-Test
Check that latch-up does not occur by injecting a current pulse of +/-100mA.
The information provided initially is +/-100mA, so I think it refers to "(2)I-Test".
Therefore, I ask you to provide the test results of "(1)V-Test, Overvoltage Test".
If "(1)V-Test, Overvoltage Tes"t has not been conducted, please tell me the reason.
regards,
Tami Higasa
Hi Tami,
Not sure if I was clear enough in my previous response. The LU test does both current and voltage test at the same time where the voltage applied is 1.5 times higher than device rating and a current of ±100mA applied at the same time and device is monitored to check for latching up.
The ISO7740 device doesn't latch-up under these test conditions and hence it has passed the LU test. ISO7740 has met both I-Test and V-Test with overvoltage as part of LU test. Hope this answers your question, thanks.

Hi, Koteshwar
Greetings!
Thanks for telling me about the test results!
I understood the details and was convinced.
