ISO1410: Should the isolated grounds be connected together?

If the two ISO1410B are connected, A/B lines should be connected together, may I know should the isolated ground GND2 be connected together?

-Yes the GND2 of each ISO1410B should be connected. GND2 will be in reference to only the BUS lines and the GND1 of each isolated RS485 transceiver will remain isolated from GND2.

If one ISO1410B and one RS485 such as THVD1450 are used, should the GND2 of ISO1410B and GND of THVD1450 be connected?

-Yes. The BUS lines needs to have a common ground reference in order for the transceivers to properly communicate

Thanks for your prompt response, the blog "Inside an isolated RS-485 transceiver" tells that the connection between two GND2 is not necessary which seems to be different, could you please double confirm according to your expertise? Thanks!
