SN6505B: Operating Frequency

Dear Team,

Here is Kevin from the Delta Taiwan team.

I would like to double check with you for the SN6505B design.

If customer didn't apply the clock it will free run at 424kHz.

If I connect the external clock it can operate up to 1600kHz base on the output clock, right?

    Hi Kevin,

    Yes, your understanding on the internal and external clock frequencies is correct. Please note that when external clock value is chosen, the transformer needs to be designed according to the chosen clock frequency. Thanks.
