Part Number: ISO35T
Whether that ISO35TDW supports profibus or not. I am sure that supports rs485 but we need to make sure to know about the profibus support of that chip.
profibus is two wire rs485, shall we use the same ISO35TDW chip? But it has not been mentioned in the document and TI giving ISO1176T for profibus support. So my question is whether the general rs485 transceiver ISO35TDW will support profibus or not. If not please tell the reason.
also, i.need is valid reason that why it not support profibus.
Thank you for reaching out. ISO35T doesn't support Profibus interface but we do have devices that support Profibus. Please have a look at ISO1450 that supports Profibus and datarates upto 50 Mbps. The datasheet of ISO14xx also confirms the support for Profibus. Let me know if you have any further questions on the device. Thanks.

This application report describes the additional specification requirements needed for PROFIBUS compatibility in addition to standard RS-485. Also, you may refer to this short video on PROFIBUS.
As you can see, PROFIBUS requires higher output swing (>2.1V) compared to standard RS-485 (>1.5V) for better signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Unfortunately, ISO35 doesn't meet this requirement.
You may consider ISO1176T if you need integrated transformer driver or our latest ISO1450.
