ISO1176: Handling for Pins of ISODE and PV
Part Number: ISO1176
Hi everyone ,
Could you please tell me how can I connect the pins of ISODE and PV ? Can I use pull up /down resistor?
Thanks for posting your question.
ISODE is a TTL output pin to indicate the driver enable status at VCC2 side. You may leave this pin not connected if this feature is not needed.
PV is an input pin with a 50kΩ pull-up. A logic high (or leaving it floating) will enable all the outputs. You can leave this input floating or connect to VCC1.
For additional details, you may refer to Section 9.4 of the ISO1176 datasheet.
You may also consider our latest ISO1450 for your newer designs. ISO1450 has better isolation performance with 50Mbps operation.
