ISO1050: ISO1050 for DAC power supply

Part Number: ISO1050
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN6505B

  1. 1. Input voltage 24V+/-3%

    2 output 0~20V, 25mA

We want to maximize the ability of DAC (including output accuracy, linearity, etc.). Please confirm the following questions:

    1. Are there any special considerations for DAC power supply VCC, VSS and VAA, and are there any appropriate power supply schemes recommended?(EVM uses external power supply)

    2. There will be multiple DAC on the board. Is it necessary to take extra consideration?

  • Hi,

I am not sure if I quite understand your question. ISO1050 is an isolated CAN transceiver which doesn't include any integrated power supply and hence needs to be supplied externally. From your description, it seemed like you are looking for a power supply to power DACs, not sure if that needs to be isolated or not.

If you are looking for an isolated power supply solution then you can look at SN6505B.
Please do provide clarification on what exactly you are looking for so that we can help you better, thanks.
