Hello,

My customer need following information to calculate total maximum error of ADS1115-Q1 in use case of single-ended input and 4.096V full scale.

Datasheet does not have minimum and maximum specification, so please give me any performance data.

1.Minimum and maximum error of “Offset error” at 25 degree C in use case of single-ended input.

2.Minimum and maximum error of “Offset drift” in use case of single-ended input.

3.Minimum and maximum error of “Gain Error” at 25 degree C in use case of single-ended input.

4.Minimum and maximum error of “Gain drift” in use case of single-ended input.

The datasheet shows graphs for the various conditions on page 6 using different voltages and gain scenarios. Outside of the electrical specifications it is difficult to say what the actual values are as they are not a tested function at final test. This means there is no min/max value that can be guaranteed.

Characterization data shows the following:

Offset at 25 deg C is around - 3 LSB for 5V supply, but can be up to -6 LSB.

Gain error ranges from around 0.02 to 0.06%, which is below the gain error given as the maximum of 0.15%.

Drift is probably best calculated from the Figures 4 and 6 in the datasheet.

I hope this information is enough to assist you in your calculations.
