Hi

I have a customer using SN65220 for clamping USB power. And I need how does TI test the surge protection for device authorization. The user is asking "IZ Pulse Test" for this item. If you do it for them, please tell me the result.

    Hello, Naoki,

    we test these parts per IEC1000-4-2 in system-level, hence Transceiver, series-resistors and pull-ups are installed as well. The IV-curve derived can be found in the datasheet, page 1.

    If additional testing is demanded, please share more details (on test-setup, schedule, volume, etc.) with your local TI-sales representive (or myself) and we see if and how we can address this.
