My customer has one quick question about SN74AHCT244-Q1.

Could you double-check the output current of this device? datasheet says it's 25mA.

Hi Ian ,

I believe you are talking about the abs max conditions . These are not the recommended conditions which is +/- 8 mA . Going beyond the recommended conditions , the electrical specs doesn't hold good but wont affect the reliability of the device .going beyond the abs max spec can damage the device .
