TPS7B4250-Q1 PSRR

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7B4250-Q1

Hello,

Customer is comparing TPS7B4250-Q1 with another manufacture and has following question.

TPS7B4250-q1 datasheet page 6 explain PSRR is 60dB typical at 100Hz, but according to the graph of “Figure 11. Power-Supply Rejection Ratio vs Frequency”, PSRR at 100Hz is greater than 100dB.

Please advise the reason why the PSRR of page 6 is much lower than Figure 11.

Best Regards.

  • Hi Ushikubo-san,

Two factors lead to the difference. Firstly, the load condition is different in the two cases. Secondly, data in Figure 11 is from the test result, while the number in the EC table is the typical value based on the simulation model.

By the way, which part is the customer comparing with? Thanks very much.

    Best Regards,
