Hi,

My customer is considering that they insert the resistor during boot pin and boot capacitor to reduce ringing.

Can it be recommended?

If it can, how much should they insert resistor?

Hi Kuramochi-san,

We do not recommend boot resistor on TPS57114-Q1 device and please do not use it. For EMC improvements, use the RC snubber on the SW node.

Hi Murthy-san,

Thank you for your answer.

My customer has already implemented the RC snubber circuit,

however it is not enough.

Please let me know if there is any countermeasure for EMC improvement.
