what are the different between the Q1 and non-Q1

Dear Sir,

May I know the  the different between the Q1 and non-Q1, for example  LM2842 & LM2842-Q1 are same datasheet so does it mean the Electrical Characteristics are same, Thanks

    In this case, yes. Otherwise we usually have seperate datasheets, especially where the differences are more significant. Most of the time we use a new package for Q1 devices so that they can meet the automotive qualification process that all Q1 devices go through.
