Or is it that only voltage is amplified by not power (or not that much)?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am planning on using the CC1120 transceiver on a nano-satellite on amateur bands. We have a UHF and a VHF frequency.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My issue is that because of frequency allocation, we are restricted to using either 135MHz or 148MHz for VHF. On the CC1120 datasheet, it says it is capable to operate at those frequencies yet it is not listed in detail.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Does anyone have any idea how to use those frequencies with the CC1120?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am working on an embedded audio emitter/receiver, based on the TLV320AIC3254 codec, the CC8520 audio streamer and CC2590 front end.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It functionnaly works well, eihter as a simple a recorder, or an emitter or a receiver. However, I noticed an annoying noise when transmition is ON.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is not a random noise, it has big regular harmonics : 125Hz, 250Hz, &amp;nbsp;500Hz, 750Hz... Even worse in emitter mode, these harmonics are stronger and 3 sub-harmonics appear between each of them, making it sound horrible. It could have been kind of interference within my layout, although none of my ICs are runnnig at this frequency ! Therefore I assume it comes from internal artifact...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Does anyone experienced such an intermodulation distortion with these ICs ? Is there a way to avoid it ?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There is no jumper on the board present.&amp;nbsp;EM selection switch is in SOC/TRX position.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I attach my Ammeter to P7 and switch on the board.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, in sleep mode I do not obtain 1 uA. In fact, I see 0.2mA.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Instead, if moving EM selection switch to MSP position, I obtain 0.08mA. Just being curious why this happens. Datasheet says it should by SOC/TRX.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;By removing the cc2451em from the battery board and powering in other manners, I obtain the desired value in the Ammeter.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My goal is obviously to see my 1uA while the node is powered by smartRF05BB! :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For our PCB we are confused which calculator to be used to calculate transmission line width &amp;nbsp; either microstrip or CPW(Co-planar wave).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Microstrip Impedance calculator reflects width of 1.41mm and&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CPW calculator reflects width of 1mm.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Still these is much differencein transmission line width&amp;nbsp; between the reference(tidc156a.zip) and calculator value whether it may be microstrip or CPW.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Our board specifications are:- &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dielectric width 0.8mm, copper thickness 35um, Dielectric coefficient 4.6 and operating frequency 2400MHz. &lt;/p&gt;

I couldn&amp;#39;t find any reference design with &lt;a href="http://www.ti.com/product/CC2540" class="internal-link folder product" title="Link to Product Folder" target="_blank"&gt;CC2540&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://www.ti.com/product/CC2592" class="internal-link folder product" title="Link to Product Folder" target="_blank"&gt;CC2592&lt;/a&gt; having connected with balun network so that&amp;#39;s the reason I am asking this)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="margin-left:30px;"&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="margin-left:30px;"&gt;3. Can you suggest best possible configuration for hooking up &lt;a href="http://www.ti.com/product/CC2540" class="internal-link folder product" title="Link to Product Folder" target="_blank"&gt;CC2540&lt;/a&gt; + &lt;a href="http://www.ti.com/product/CC2592" class="internal-link folder product" title="Link to Product Folder" target="_blank"&gt;CC2592&lt;/a&gt;. (I could send my reference design if you want)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We are trying to make bluetooth module for one of our application using &lt;strong&gt;CC2540 and CC2592. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have got reference from CC2592 datasheet and reference design for CC2538+CC2592. The other reference that I got is from CC2540 and CC2540+CC2591 reference design. I am going to follow the stackup and 4layers as per reference design.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We have some questions regarding this design : &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="margin-left:30px;"&gt;1. HGM pin in one of the reference design is connected either to pull down or pull up and the other reference design it is directly connected to CC25xx.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="margin-left:30px;"&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="margin-left:30px;"&gt;2. The best way to connect &lt;strong&gt;CC2540 and CC2592 on RF_P and RF_N &lt;/strong&gt;is directly connect to each other but we want maximum range with high power for our application so can you please let us know if we can directly connect these pins on CC2540 and CC2592.&lt;/p&gt;
