TLK2711-SP: Icc Datasheet Specs

Part Number: TLK2711-SP

Posting for a customer.  For the TLK2711-SP, please help to address the following questions related to the Icc spec.

From the Datasheet: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tlk2711-sp.pdf page 8 table 7.3.

VDD:  Voltage supply spec’d at 2.5 +/-5%

  • What is the spec for VDDA?
  • Can this be relaxed, as it is specified to be L-C decoupled from VDD supply, and will be lower on average.

Icc: Supply current is 110 mA nominal @ 1.6 GHz.

  • What is a min & Max spec for this current?  Is this at 25 C, or over the MIL temp range?
  • What is the split in current between VDD and VDDA pins?
  • If not a spec, can you provide any typical data for Icc(Vdd) and Icc(Vdda)?
  • What is the dependence of Icc on VDD Supply voltage? (Linear, or?)
  • What is the dependence of Icc on Temperature?

  • Hi Sean,

The applications engineer who is familiar with this device returns to the office next Monday.  He will try to address your questions upon his return.

    Thanks

    Christian

  • Sean,
ICC does not have a test limit. However, max power is a specification and production tested.
VDDA is ~30 to 40% of total current/power.
The variation of ICC across temperature is minimal with slight increase with increasing temperature (about 5% increase from -55 to 125 based on characterization lot).
I do not have good data on VCC relationship to ICC, as test data is based on worst case only. I would speculate a predominately linear relationship.

    Regards,
    Wade
