Hello Marvin,
Do you need a military grade part, or a hermetic package?
We still offer a commercial version of this part in a plastic package: LM392-N
The LM192 is a dual channel device, with one channel a comparator and the other an op amp. The comparator is like one channel of the LM193-N and the op amp is like one channel of the LM158-N. (When both TI and National have provided the same product the "-N" indicates that the product came from National).
We no longer have a mil grade product with that configuration, but the LM158AH/883 has the same pin out and could be configured to operate like the LM192. See the product info at LM158QML for the mil grade product.
on the LM192, channel B is an op amp and you can use the LM158 in its place.with no changes to your application.
Channel A on the LM192 is a comparator with an output that is an open collector. If you were to use the LM158 to replace the LM192 in an application, the application would need to be reconfigured for channel A so that there is feedback from the output to the input. See the LM158QML datasheet on how to configure the part as a comparator.
