Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA820
In the datasheet for the OPA820-HT the input and output voltage ranges for the amplifier at Vs=5V (see pg.7) are specified as an absolute amount of 3.2V*, without any reference to the supply voltages.
The standard OPA820 datasheet specifies both max and min input voltages on a single 5V supply (see pg.8), as 4V and 1.3V respectively. This is an absolute range of 2.7V but it is NOT symmetrical around mid-supply. Since these are labelled as essentially the same devices, I would expect that the OPA820-HT input range is also not symmetrical about mid-supply, but the degree of offset is not clearly specified.
I spent some time looking at the bottom-right Figure on page 11 (figure numbers might be a good addition), however that seems to specify an input range of max/min = 2.4/-1.7, which would be a much smaller range than specified on page 5 (in dual supply). I assume I'm misreading something on the chart.
What are the allowable maximum and minimum input voltages of the OPA820-HT, when operating from a single 5 or 6 volt supply?
(* it is being assumed that the CMIR is given as the absolute total allowable input range, as no other values are specified)
