SN54LVC138A-SP: Radiation Report

Genius 5355 points
Part Number: SN54LVC138A-SP

Hi Support,

Please advise the radiation report for SN54LVC138A-SP.

Else what radiation tolerant level is it qualified to?

Thanks.

  • Ikon,
All of the radiation reports are located here: www.ti.com/.../space.page

Unfortunately, we do not have any radiation data on this device.

The only devices that are qualified/assured to a radiation level are the RHA devices. These are denoted by the DSCC SMD number, and instead of 5962-, they will have a letter replacing the - indicating the level of qualification for TID.

Other -SP devices may have characterization data, but not assured for radiation performance.

    Regards,
    Wade
  • Hi Wade,

Have a look at the characterisation data. However, it does not mention radiation.

May I know how TI deems the -SP parts to be “radiation tolerant “and” qualified for use in Space-based applications?

    Thanks.

  • Having a -SP designation means that the device is qualified to a DSCC (DLA) SMD class V print.

It does not imply any radiation performance or testing.

However all of our newer and future releases will have radiation data with -SP releases.

    Regards,

    Wade
