TINA/Spice/lm2941: Problem in design, have no output voltage

Part Number: LM2941
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi everyone

I have a question about "snac052", Power module EVM for LM96550 EVM board.

I designed my power circuit such as this EVM (the following image) and simulate that with TINA software but I can not see anything on output pin. Do you know what is wrong in EVM designe?

  • Hi Patrick,

This is an interesting schematic with an artificial GND referenced to -50 V.

First it is important to recognize that LM2941 is a 26 V device.  While the Absolute Maximum rating is 60 V it is important to note that the Abs Max rating is for stress conditions only and is not intended for normal operation.

Also, can you provide a scope shot with Vin at R211 to make sure that it is the input voltage that you expected.

    Very Respectfully,

    Ryan
