ADC08D1520QML-SP: About power cycle limit of ADC08D1520-SP

Part Number: ADC08D1520QML-SP

Hello,

My customer has a question about  ADC08D1520QML-SP.

[Q]

Is there a Power cycle limit for this device on VA pin and VDR pin?
The power cycle means the power up -> down -> up -> ... .

Best regards,

Kaede Kudo

  • Hi,

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are wanting to know-what do you mean by "Power cycle limit"? # cycles? There are voltage and current limits for these pins (and differences between these pins) as shown in the absolute maximum rating table on pp9 of the datasheet. So long as these specs are respected for every power cycle, there should not be a limit on the number of times the device gets power cycled.

Also, pp33 of the datasheet contains a Powerdown section explaining the operation of the device with respect to powerdown using the pin and removing power completely and the implications on calibration.

    Thanks
    Christian
