Hello,

I wanted to know 1 machine cycle means how much clock pulses for msp430f6459??

I am using c language. i am using for loop for generating software delay then which clock frequency need to conside or how we can generate software delay using loop ??

Trupti,
1 clock is one cycle. However, some instructions take multiple cycles(clocks)
A better approach for a predictable delay would be to use a timer, and have an interrupt generated at desired interval.
The watchdog timer can also be used in this fashion.
I recommend going through the training material. It shows these concepts.

1 clock is one cycle ur telling. i explain giving example like for 8051 ,1 machine cycle means 12 clock pulse in this term for msp430f6459 ,1 machine cycle means how many clock pulse???

The msp430 series is one clock pulse is one cycle. There is not the concept of machine cycle as in the 8051.
