OPA820-HT: OPA820-HT Gold Wiring

I have customer asking if he can use gold wiring to the OPA820-HT. This does not seem to be an issue with me, but I wanted to confirm this with the factory engineers to verify that this will not be an issue.

Hi Richard,

The device is compatible with gold bondwire. For longest life at high temperatures aluminum bondwire on aluminum bondpads is preferred. Gold bondwire on aluminum bondpads is susceptible to Kirkendall Voiding which can reduce overall wirebond life.
